Hashes and signatures
The Android listing publishes SHA256 dacaf1ae79916b1fd8c18d2e2033fc97b088213a74217e89e7aa3a8eb8ec4a3b for that APK. For desktop packages, compare the file you received against the hash posted next to the official buildbot artifact. This page does not invent Windows SHA values.
Antivirus false positives
Nightlies and cores are often quarantined by Defender, Norton or Avast. Maintainers have said scanners want a paid whitelist. Confirm the hash, then add an exclusion for the RetroArch folder. See Is RetroArch safe and the antivirus guide.
